White clouds and surreal forms of Baloons invade various areas ranging from Calais and Dover beaches to the streets of Shanghai or to the black slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. Charles Pétillon with his installations questions the actions of man over nature, but also addresses the disappearance and evokes memories. These photographs awake so many emotions in the human minds, carrying in them a purpose which is universal and also playful.
